When I first started my novel, I was hit hard with a sudden download of ideas for the premise of a story that I had entertained years before. And it truly felt like a story I was meant to write.
I was home with my toddler at the time, but the idea and the feeling of it was so strong. Inspiration hit and it just kept coming. I started writing at night, into the early morning, and I did that for weeks.
The more I wrote, the more the story developed, but it was difficult to keep track of the pieces and weave them together. Eventually, inspiration wasn't so readily available and after a few months of playing mom by day and writer by night, I had burned myself out.
After several months, I went back to work. When I'd sit down to try to tap back into the story, it was a struggle. I had a hard time sinking back into the feeling and energy of the story and trying to put all the pieces of the puzzle together.
Until one day, I had a fun little idea to experiment by using the Law of Attraction to help me out.
